Escorial Hotel is set in a semi-circle around palm gardens. There is a swimming pool, a children's pool and jacuzzis and, the sun terraces and lawned gardens are furnished with loungers and parasols. There is a further roof top sun terrace with a jacuzzi and lovely views out to sea.

The wellness centre is well equipped and includes a pool with massage showers, a salt pool for floating, various steam baths, rasul and Cleopatra bath, a jacuzzi, heated relaxation beds, tanning cabins. The centre also offers various beauty treatments and massages.

The hotel restaurant offers buffet service with show cooking and international dishes. There is also an attractive lounge bar with evening entertainment twice a week and a pool-side bar.

Entertainment and activities are organised throughout the day and leisure facilities include a tennis court, a children's playground, a bowling alley, a well equipped internet cafe and a games room with darts, table tennis, poker tables, pool tables, playstations and other games.

The hotel has parking spaces and a 24 hour reception. Services offered include safety deposit box hire, currency exchange, baby sitting, tourist information, laundry and dry cleaning service.

There are 250 guest rooms at the Escorial Hotel, spread over 9 floors (with lifts), comprising double rooms and family rooms.

The guest rooms have a double/twin beds, bathroom, satellite TV, a telephone, a mini fridge, a hire safe and a furnished balcony or terrace. The 31 family rooms have, in addition, sofa beds to sleep up to 4 people.

Please Note: Due to room renovations the hotel is replacing fitted carpet with tiled flooring: The works start at 09:00 and finish at 17:00. Some noise is audible during these hours.

Escorial Hotel is just 300m from the beach, where there are various sports activities. Located in a quieter part of the resort, there is a supermarket and small selection of shops and restaurants in the immediate vicinity with the livelier entertainment centres in easy walking distance. Playa del Ingles is approx 32km from Gran Canaria Airport.
